Press the STANDBY button to switch the unit on, press the STANDBY button again to switch the unit back to standby mode. the only downside is that the FM tuning is Scan only with no info, although you can preset 4 stations. If you do, it may adversely affect the operating performance of the unit, and cause a distorted picture or sound. You may see a “<” symbol after the name of the station, this indicates that there are secondary services available to that station. It’s one of the cheapest DAB radios currently available on the market, so it’s a good choice if you’re looking to get something as cheap as possible.

After unpacking it, I turned it on, whereupon it went straight into tuning mode and tuned in all the DAB stations and then, when put into standby, it set the correct time - fine, so far.
